GZOND Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 25, 2026
In this privacy policy, we explain which personal data GZOND processes, why we do so, with whom data may be shared, and what rights you have.
1. Data Controller
GZOND is operated by SDBOOD Holding B.V.
Torenlaan 5B

The Netherlands
Chamber of Commerce: 70272603

2. What data do we process?
Depending on how you use GZOND, we may process, among other things: name, billing and delivery address, email address, data required for payment and ordering, account information, contact and customer service details, order and return information, IP address, device information, and data regarding website usage.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Orders, payments, delivery, returns, and customer service: performance of the agreement.
- Administration and statutory retention obligations: legal obligation.
- Security, fraud prevention, and improvement of our services: legitimate interest, to the extent permitted and following a balancing of interests.
- Newsletters and other direct marketing: consent where legally required; existing customers may receive relevant communication in cases where the law allows it, with a simple opt-out option.
- Tracking and personalized marketing via cookies or similar techniques: consent where legally required.
4. With whom do we share data?
We do not sell customer databases as a commodity. However, personal data may be processed or shared with parties necessary for the webshop and service provision, such as Shopify, payment providers, fulfillment and shipping partners, IT and security service providers, and, where a valid legal basis exists, analysis and marketing partners. These parties receive only the data necessary for their task.
5. Shopify
Our webshop runs on Shopify. Shopify processes personal data as a platform and technology provider. Depending on the features used, Shopify may process data in countries outside the EEA. Where necessary, appropriate legal safeguards are used for this purpose.
6. Retention periods
We do not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for legal obligations. Tax-relevant order and administrative data are generally kept for 7 years. In principle, we retain customer service correspondence for up to 2 years after resolution, unless a longer retention period is necessary for a dispute, legal obligation, or legitimate interest. We retain newsletter data until you unsubscribe, except for data required to respect an unsubscription.
7. Cookies and similar techniques
We use functional cookies that are necessary for the operation of the webshop and may use limited analytical cookies to the extent that no consent is required. For tracking cookies and other non-essential techniques for which consent is required, we request prior permission. More information can be found in our Cookie Policy.
8. Your rights
To the extent granted by the GDPR, you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability of personal data. You may withdraw provided consent; withdrawal has no retroactive effect. Send your request to support@gzond.eu. We may request reasonable information to verify your identity.
9. Security
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. However, no security method can guarantee absolute security.
10. International transfer
When personal data is processed outside the European Economic Area, we use a recognized transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses, where necessary.
11. Complaints
If you have a privacy complaint, please contact us first at support@gzond.eu. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
12. Changes
We may adjust this privacy policy when our services, legislation, or systems used change. The most recent version is available on this page.
